CODE OF CONDUCT

Kalahari Mall aims to be a safe, relaxed, and friendly environment for our Guests. We therefore ask that all visitors abide by our Code of Conduct, detailed below, in the interests of everyone's safety, enjoyment and wellbeing. 

Kalahari Mall consistently aims to maintain high standards and does not permit the following: 

Ensuring that our Guests are free to experience shopping, dining and entertainment, Kalahari Mall does not permit the following: 
  • Leafleting, canvassing or the conducting of third party interviews or surveys, unless authorised by Kalahari Mall Centre Management.
  • Unauthorized busking, or the selling of goods in the mall or car parks.
  • Leaflet or business card placement on cars within car parks.
To ensure the health and safety of our Guests, Kalahari Mall asks that visitors respect and show due consideration for the building, environment and users of this area by: 
  • Adhering to our no smoking policy within the mall, and only making use of designated "Smoke Zone" areas.
  • Keeping clear of all fire escapes except in an emergency.
  • Not cycling, skateboarding, roller-blading or riding micro-scooters in the centre.
  • Not parking in or obstructing designated car park spaces for use by our disabled customers.
  • Not climbing or sitting on any balustrade, barrier, fence or railing.
  • Making no inappropriate use of customer lifts and escalators.
  • Not filming and / or using stills photography unless authorised by Kalahari Mall Centre Management.
  • Not parking in the walkways coloured, or hatched areas, at the entrances to the centre.
The following legal conditions must be adhered to: 
  • Alcohol may only be consumed within premises that hold a legal liquor licence.
  • Any act of vandalism towards property belonging to Kalahari Mall or our retailers will be dealt with accordingly, and police involvement will be requested, where necessary, in order to take statements, open case files, and document the incident.
  • Clear access routes must be maintained for emergency services
  • Kalahari Mall Landlords, Management Agency, and security contractors reserve the right to deny any person or persons from entering the property, and have the right to escort them off the site. In addition to this, any person who persistently ignores any of the above, or commits a crime, will for a time period to be determined by Kalahari Mall Centre Management, be excluded from the centre.
